INSPIRING WORDS INDEED

Below are some words that I have learnt in Life that has kept me going:

ON EARNING:

Never depend on single income. Make investment to create a second
chance.

ON SPENDING:

If you buy things you do not need, soon you will have to sell things
you need.

ON RATINGS: 

Do not save What is left after spending, but spend what is left after
saving.

ON TAKING RISK: 

Never test the depth of a river with both feet.

ON INVESTMENT: 

Do not put all eggs in one basket.

ON EXPECTATIONS: 

Honesty is very expensive gift. Do not expect it from cheap
people.

If you are depressed, you are living in the past. If you are anxious, you are
living in the future. If you are at peace you are living in the present. 

Past is a Waste paper. Present is a Newspaper and Future is a question paper.

When bad things happen in your life, You have three choices. You can either let it
define you, let it destroy you or you can let it strengthen you.

Empty pockets teach you a million things in life but full pockets spoils you in a
million ways.

Our eyes are in the front because it is more important to look ahead than to
look back.

We used pencil when we were small but now we use pens... do you know why?
Because mistakes in childhood can be erased but not now. So read and write carefully
otherwise life will be tissue paper. . .

Let's make the most out of these inspiring words and be the best in Life..

LIFE IS A GIFT, APPRECIATE IT

Life is a Gift; Each passing day is a gift from God; Open it, Enjoy it, Celebrate it and Appreciate it.

Before you utter any unpleasant word today, reflect on someone that cannot speak.

Just ponder on people that have got nothing to eat before you complain about not eating 3 square meals a day.

Always remember that people die everyday, both young and old, and stop complaining when things don't go your way cos those that are dead would be happier if they are still breathing.

In this world we find ourselves, several people give birth everyday, so many are longing for the fruit of the womb as well, but some that have children often complain about their kids, just remember that there are so many who would do anything just to have a child; appreciate God and appreciate the life He has granted you.

And just before you nag about your untidy house, reflect on those that live in the streets and bridges, that have no where to call home, but you have one.

When you rant about the stress you face at work, remember that there are millions of unemployed just around you.

Before you point accusing finger on someone, always remember that not one of us is without sin and are all answerable to our maker (GOD).

Always be Happy. Show a good sense of humour and appreciate the Life God has given You.

Put on an amazing SMILE when depression come your way.

Life is indeed a special gift, always appreciate God for the gift of Life.

I have come to realize that it takes the effort of YOU as a person to admire and encourage yourself like no one else would.

The truth is that if you keep waiting for, or expecting others to appreciate you, you might be embarking on a journey without end cos it might never happen, except in few cases.

For you to be very happy and successful in all you do, there is a need for self - appraisal and encouragement.

We all have amazing and unique talents that distinguishes us one from another, learn to appreciate yourself in that light.

Try to enumerate and understand all your positive attributes and qualities., have confidence in all your intended choices and all you have made, and always be bold to express how you feel.

Moreover, you must encourage yourself by loving yourself. Be your number one fan, when you do so, you will have a good number of fans in return.

Always have this at the back of your mind; that you have a whole lot to offer to your world, be confident and always speak positive words.

Appreciate Life! Appreciate your effort. Be the very best you can be.

The Sky is your starting point. You have so much on your inside.

AM THRILLED AT THIS FASCINATING STORY

A young lady was waiting for her flight in the boarding room of a big airport. As she would need to wait many hours, she decided to buy a book to spend her time. She also bought a packet of cookies. She sat down in an armchair, in the VIP room of the airport, to rest and read in peace. Beside the arm chair where the packet of cookies lay, a man sat down in the next seat, opened his magazine and started reading.

When she took out the first cookie, the man took one also. She felt irritated but said nothing. She just thought: “What a nerve! If I was in the mood I would punch him for daring!”

For each cookie she took, the man took one too. This was infuriating her but she didn't want to cause a scene. When only one cookie remained, she thought: “ah… What would this abusive man do now?”

Then, the man, taking the last cookie, divided it into half, giving her one half. Ah! That was too much! She was much too angry now! In a huff, she took her book,her things and stormed to the boarding place. When she sat down in her seat, inside the plane,she looked into her purse to take her eye glasses, and to her surprise, her packet of cookies was there, untouched, unopened!
She felt so ashamed! She realized that she was wrong…She had forgotten that her cookies were kept in her purse. The man had divided his cookies with her, without feeling angered or bitter. “While she had been very angry, thinking that she was dividing her cookies with him And now there was no chance to explain herself, nor to apologize.”
There are 4 things that you cannot recover:

The stone… after the throw!
The word…after it’s said!
The occasion…after the loss!
The time…after it’s gone.
